What this site collects, what it does not, and what happens to an enquiry after it is sent.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising tags, no social widgets and no third-party scripts of any kind. Nothing is written to your browser storage and no profile of your visit is built.
That is why there is no consent banner. Consent is required for storing things on your device that are not strictly necessary; there is nothing here to consent to, and a banner asking permission for nothing would be theatre — it would also have to store your answer, which would make it the only thing on the site placing anything on your device.
If analytics are added later they will be a cookieless, aggregate measure that identifies nobody, and this page will say so before it ships.
What the service request form collects
The form at /service-request is the only place this site asks for personal data. It collects what is needed to price and schedule marine engineering work, and nothing beyond it:
- Your name, work email address and telephone number
- Your company, and its website if you give one
- The service required and the urgency
- Vessel name or IMO number, and the port or location, where you provide them
- A free-text description, and any repair specification, class report or photographs you attach
A submission is sent by email to Corvaden and used to answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation and plan the work. It is not sold, rented or shared for marketing, and it is not used to build a mailing list.
The website itself keeps no copy. There is no database behind this form and no submission log on the server — the enquiry exists as an email in Corvaden’s mailbox and nowhere else.
Mail is carried over an authenticated connection to Corvaden’s own mail provider and does not travel through a third-party sending service.
Your rights
Under Brazil’s LGPD and, where it applies, the GDPR, you may ask what personal data Corvaden holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, and ask for it to be provided to you. Write to the address below and the request will be answered.
Who to write to
Questions about this notice, or any request about your data, go to the general enquiries address. Corvaden operates from an office at the Port of Santos, Brazil.
To be confirmed
- Registered company name and registration number, as the data controller
- How long enquiries are retained before deletion
